CHOCOLATE WEEKENDS

Throughout the year we will be offering pure indulgence weekends of chocolate.
The weekend begins when you check in on Friday and are welcomed by a chocolate fountain on reception . Dip fresh strawberries or marshmallows into cascading Belgian chocolate.

Friday evening
is free for you to enjoy Bournemouth sample the delights of the many restaurants available.

Saturday
Breakfast from 8.30 – 9.00

10.00 AM
The first chocolate session – Here you will have a 2.5 hour session with our chocolatier who will give you a detailed history of chocolate through the ages, provide you with tastings of different chocolates and indeed some of his own favourites.

11.15 AM
We will break for coffee and again for lunch at 12.30. This is a light hearted session where you will gain tremendous knowledge about chocolate.

Lunch
Sandwiches will be served in the
main bar.

2.00 PM
The afternoon ‘hands on’ chocolate workshop.

Our chocolatier will take you through a 2.5 hour workshop where you will make hand made Belgian truffles, this involves mixing and making a ganache, tempering chocolate, dipping and decorating your chocolates and finally wrapping them!

You will each make around 30-40 chocolates each.

7.00 pm
The bar will be open for chocolate cocktails and of course other drinks.

Sunday
Following breakfast our chocolatier will be ready at 10am to welcome you to
a class where he will first demonstrate and you will then be making perfect molded chocolates as seen in the shops.

These can be made with different fillings ( including alcohol). You will be amazed at the results.

Again you will make approximately 30-40 chocolates all packaged up and looking good enough to sell!!!

This session finishes at 12.30 when it will be time to depart.

Cost is £265.00 per person
based on 2 sharing a room.
